the train station @ kathgodam (driving 1 hour). There are overnight trains /
trains from Delhi and Lucknow. Also with daily shatabdi from Delhi (starts at
6am from New Delhi and ends at 11.30am last kathgodam).
One
can drive about 300 kilometers (driving 6/7 hours) from Delhi: Ghaziabad -
Gajraula (stop for breakfast McD / Bikaner / Burgerking / Domino's / KFC / Moga
etc) - Moradabad - Rampur - Rudrapur - Haldwani - Kathgodam - Bhimtal -
Naukuchiatal.
One
can take a pleasant spot and drive through the forest (turn left onto the ring
road before entering Rampur - Swar - Bazpur - Kaladhungi - Haldwani) From
Lucknow one can reach Bareilly – Haldwani Nainital is 25 miles from the resort.
